Mr. A., a Spanish-speaking journalist living in Portugal, tuned in to TWR’s Thru the Bible program in Portuguese. Impressed by what he heard, he wrote TWR and requested some Spanish materials. A few weeks later, he thanked TWR. “I have studied the text and learned a lot, but also have many questions,” he said, adding that sought answers from a local church and other religious groups. “None of them explain the material in such a simple, professional way as you do in your radio programs,” he wrote.

About six months later, TWR received another letter from Mr. A. “My dear friends, I have grown a lot, even though I had no religious formation,” he wrote. “I am astonished to know God. Thank you for everything.” A few more months passed, and then Mr. A. wrote and requested Bibles. “I would also like any other texts that would help build the faith of my family who have recently [committed their lives to Christ],” he said. “The programs have changed my life.
