Responsibilities include care of audio equipment and systems within the whole broadcasting chain (studio equipment, play out and distribution systems) of TWR-Europe. Tasks include evaluation of new systems (e.g. production software), close cooperation with program-producing partners and purchase of necessary equipment. In cooperation with the responsible colleague, specific hardware and software components (e.g. audio supervision) are implemented, documented, introduced for operations, maintained and the users trained. Must have undergraduate degree (B.A./B.S.) in Audio Engineering and Electronics or related fields and two years’ experience in audio/studio installations and audio electronics repair. Extended experience may be substituted for education. In addition, there must be an ability to work independently and competently with MS Windows and its features, computer hardware and basic PC maintenance.
